Our Mission

Fishers of Men for Veterans which is a 501(c)3 organization was originally incorporated in 2008 by Marty Jarvey working out of the Show Low VA clinic with the support of the Order of the Purple Heart of the state of Arizona. Fishers of Men for Veterans provided food and other items needed by our veterans to assist them in their day-to-day living.

Our team is made up solely of volunteers who want to help our veterans lead a better quality of life that they deserve.

Our Mission Statement: To help homeless and distressed veterans for a better quality of life.

We provide food boxes, emergency boxes, blankets, sleeping bags, tents, clothing, household goods as well as assistance in finding housing, guidance with civilian transitions as needed and a valuable resource partner working with other agencies to assist veterans in understanding their military benefits and available programs.

We are able to provide our veterans with these items through many fundraising programs as well as through the kind donations from people like you here in the White Mountains of Arizona.
